What is the difference between Rogers RO4003C and Rogers RO4350B?

Roger RO4000 series high frequency PCB material is made by glass fiber reinforced hydrocarbon/ceramic substrate (not PTFE), which is characterized by low loss, low tolerance and excellent high frequency performance, so it is widely used in the following fields:

1. Satellite TV LNB

2. Microstrip line, cellular base station antenna and power amplifier

3. Spread spectrum communication system

4. RFID tag

So,what is the difference between Rogers RO4003C and  Rogers RO4350B?

RO4003C dielectric constant manufacturing nominal value: 3.38 ± 0.05, circuit design recommended value: 3.55, loss factor / tan6: 0.0027/0.0021.

RO4350B dielectric constant manufacturing nominal value: 3.48 ± 0.05, circuit design recommended value: 3.66, loss factor /  tan6:0.0037/0.0031.

The difference in performance and parameters between the two materials is not very large, the main difference is that RO4003C is a halogen-free material, which is more environmentally friendly than RO4350B.
